Busiest Time of My Life (So far...)

Dear reader, know that while I'm typing this now, I'm actually spending valuable minutes of my semester that can be spent on my many project based subjects. Be it programming my Automated Ballistic Weapon for Mechatronics Systems Design, analyzing the many digital signals for Digital Signals & Image Processing or maybe revising the business plan for my imaginary company Ple Ple Ple Sdn. Bhd. for Engineering Management 2, my time is more valuable than I have ever known...

But hell, I want a break and damn it, I will get one. As you probably already realize, this gamer is not gaming so much anymore these days. It's not as bad as it sounds, it's actually quite a refreshing experience. I actually know what I need to do nowadays. When I wake up, my mind automatically focuses on the next thing I need to do, after it's done focusing on more mundane things like sitting on the toilet bowl and brushing my teeth, of course. Like right now, even when I'm supposed to be blowing off steam, my study oriented mind is telling me that I've spent 10 minutes on something I shouldn't spend time on.

Screw that, I'm now semi-depressed as I do not own a monitor at the moment. It's an interesting story actually, you see, for the past week, I've been rushing all my assignments and homeworks like the deadlines were the 9th of November 2010 and in a way, it was. On that fateful day, Call of Duty Black Ops was released and I, being an extremely loyal CoD fan, had already pre-purchased it two weeks ago. But the plot thickens, on that day, after all the preparations, I sold my monitor. It was a good plan logically, as I would be able to get a much better model for almost nothing if I sold it, but my heart is aching as I hear other gamers talk about Black Ops...

Oh ya, plus it really sucks to have no monitor in general. I find myself studying at my table and grabbing my mouse on instinct, forgetting that I don't have a monitor, only to be disappointed when I look up and see the wall staring coldly back at me.

For those of you wondering, I'm using Hui Jin's laptop right now.

Well, it's about time I continue my research into why FIR and IIR Filters are applicable in different digital signals.

As a "Gamer on Leave", FT out...
