Wonders of Stress

Today we learn about stress, wonderful, miraculous stress. What is this, stress? It can’t be quantified, you can’t touch it but it’s there, it’s so real. Like an invisible force waiting for the right moment to bitch slap you hard on the face…

Now, who can tell me what causes stress? Is it that deadline coming up or that exam just around the corner? Or is it just there, lurking around the corner when things don’t seem to be going your way? If that’s stress then I’d imagine stress as a cloaked stranger, waiting for you to fall, face first into a puddle of mud, then rushing out to kick and laugh at you.

On the other hand, you could think of stress as a motivator. The one thing that will keep you from just enjoying yourself. The one thing that will keep you on the path of whatever it is you are supposed to be doing. Think about it like this, sure, stress can make you wanna curl up and cry but when harnessed properly, stress can be a powerful weapon. Like a grenade whose pin has gone lose in your pocket, either curl up, cry and get blown up, or toss it at the nearest asshole and smile. Okay, lousy metaphor but you get what I mean. For those of you who don’t, I’m saying use stress to your advantage, don’t let it drag you down…

Some people eat, some people drink and some just go bang their heads on the wall. Specially for this posting, I am going to have a poll. Let me know what you guys actually do when you’re stressed. Then we can figure out how many people actually use this wonderful thing called stress.

So, now that I’ve gotten all that nonsense of my chest, I’m going to waste more time playing video games. Don’t forget to vote and until next time, play hard!
