In the past two weeks (even more so since I got my results), I've been thinking about discipline very seriously. I mean, what is the main thing that allows us to achieve anything at all? I don't believe that anyone, give enough time, can honestly say that they CANNOT do something. If you set your mind to achieve something and actually be disciplined about it, you will not fail unless luck is truly against you.
Try this, think about all the tasks you've ever set for yourself. Now think of how many you failed to achieve. Before you start crying, think about how many you truly TRIED to do without giving up or being lazy. Be honest to yourself and answer this, "Did I truly deserve to pass/fail the task?". I believe that most of you who failed probably didn't give it your best. For those who failed because of factors outside you control, I feel your pain...
Whoops, semi-emo there for awhile. Just reflecting on my results and let me tell you, I'm not happy. But hey, you get what you put in right? So, go do what your daddy and mummy have been telling you since you were young. That's what I meant by back to basics, start a log, prepare a timetable or just do something that will help you stay on track. Be disciplined, consistent and organized and I promise good things will come your way!
On to a lighter topic, I'm lighter! (Pun intended =p) Yeah, you heard it right, I'm currently on a path to become my two-year-ago self. Dedication pays off and trust me when I say it's been hard. I've been eating and surviving on apples and oranges for the past week and a half and it's starting to get boring. Wonder what I should start eating next, carrots or something? Planning to lose enough weight to actually look different by the time I get back to Kuching.
Also, I just wanna say that I finally have a bed to sleep on! I mean, I always had a bed but just not in my living room. I've been sleeping in the living room on the sofa for the past 3 weeks in case you were wondering...
Oh, and there was another thing worth mentioning but I honestly can't remember what it is. Don't worry, if I remember I'll write it down and let you guys know come next post.
So, till next time, play hard guys! (This stays till I can think of a less lame sign off)
PS: Those of you wondering, two-years-ago me? Here's how I looked like...
Oh God...
Omg, just realized my picture looks so lala lol...
