Lifestyle Changes

It's been ages since I actually sat down and just played games, thinking of nothing but games. I hope I'm not coming to a line where I stop becoming interested in games. That would suck, big time...

I don't know, I think it might be because of all the other things going on in my life. Other, more important, things in my life. For example, the fact that I think I'm going to be getting a dog soon brings about many new things to do, like preparing a place for the dog to stay and wondering what the hell to do with the cats that I have. Plus, theres the fact that my brothers have just gotten their drivers licenses. I thought that this would bring about more freedom and time for me but instead, I end up having to spend more time in the front passenger seat with a strong grip on the handbrake while teaching my brothers how to drive. Trust me, it's not easy on the nerves.

Wonderful news, I think I'm starting to sink into the whole healthy lifestyle routine. Today, that apple or orange doesn't look so unappetizing anymore. I can actually say, on certain occasions, that I actually look forward to that next healthy snack. That's not to say that I don't crave for that pack of potato chips but I believe it's getting a lot easier to control my cravings now. I managed to go through the entire snack section in the supermarket this morning without feeling the urge to grab anything!

Lifestyle is all about habit.
Habit is all about repeating something until it becomes normal.
Changing lifestyles is all about changing habits.
Changing habits is all about overcoming the initial difficulty in doing something that's not normal.
